About the role

In this full-time position based at site in Selangor, you will play a crucial role in managing the contract aspects of construction projects, ensuring their successful delivery. Your expertise will be instrumental in controlling costs, budget quantity, and maximizing value for the company and its clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for construction project
2. Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential savings and cost-effective solutions
3. Provide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters to project teams
4. Prepare progress claims and perform site valuation for management and clients
5. Collaborate with project managers and other professionals to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget

What we're looking for

1. Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members
5. Proficient in using relevant quantity surveying software and computer applications
6. Thorough understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
